Our journey to New Beginnings is rooted in a shared commitment to helping people. For nearly 15 years, Zach Fischer (co-founder) has been at the forefront of the estate sales industry. Alongside his father, he built Tandem Estate Sales and Real Estate in Colorado Springs into the top estate sales company in Colorado, renowned for its exceptional service and results. Zach's joy comes from alleviating the stress of his clients; seeing their smiles at the end of a sale when he delivers on his promise of "I got this part" is his ultimate reward.

The vision for New Beginnings truly took shape during a special anniversary trip in September 2024. As Zach and his wife, Meghanne Fischer (co-founder), explored the East Coast, from Chesapeake to Portland, Maine, they both fell in love with the vibrant community of Chesapeake. While the idea of a new venture had been toyed with, it was Meghanne, with her embrace of life and new experiences, who championed the leap into this "new beginning."

Meghanne, an ex-military wife with nine years of invaluable experience as an in-house care specialist (including hospice care), brings a profound sense of empathy and a unique insight into navigating life's most challenging moments. She understands that in times of grief or major life changes, the thought of managing belongings or property can be overwhelming. "My job is about the client and nothing else," Meghanne states, driven by a deep satisfaction in knowing she is truly helping another person. She believes that even in hardship, joy and compassion can still be found.

It was on their return home that they decided to bring their combined expertise, passion for helping people, and proven success from Colorado to the East Coast, establishing New Beginnings Estate Sales and Real Estate as a beacon of support in the Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and broader Hampton Roads community.
